1. Trail Removal or Deactivation
If trails are being removed, deactivated, or access is being restricted in your area, please notify us immediately, this will allow us to keep records of the actions in your area, provide support (if needed) to you to engage with the key decision makers to gain further details on the changes and advocate for your concerns around the changes with the intention to bring solutions to resolve your concerns.
2. Biannual Regulation Changes
Stay informed about regulation updates under the Wildlife Act or other relevant legislation. If you notice significant changes or have questions about how they impact trail use, contact us for guidance.
Should you receive notification of changes coming to your area, please share this with ATVBC to ensure we are aware of the changes, allow us to keep record of these changes and (if needed) advocate on your behalf on any concerns for the changes proposed.
3. Motor Vehicle Access Closures
Report any new motor vehicle access closures that affect ORV use. These may involve restrictions to trails or areas previously accessible to riders.
4. Local Government Changes
Keep us informed about discussions or decisions by local governments that may influence trail use in your region. Whether it’s zoning, land use planning, or changes to recreation access, we want to know so we can keep accurate records for future use, review the proposed changes and provide feedback to address ORV access.
