Intended Land Use/background context: The application site is for a base camp and education center to provide outdoor education programs and activities for small groups of youth. The proposed base camp will have a main cabin for communal cooking, five 12x16ft sleeping cabins, parking areas, gazebo, washrooms (cess tank), rainwater collection system for water, and a trail to access the lake. The majority of the AT activities (canoeing/kayaking, overnight backpack trips, hiking, rock climbing , and caving will occur in surrounding areas (which would fall under Appendix 1 of the AT Policy for Incidental Use). Ecological and environmental studies are proposed on site.

Term of Proposal: Policy states that Adventure Tourism Licence of Occupation can go up to 45 years. The Designated Decision Maker has the discretion to establish the Tenure Term. Considerations for determining tenure terms are highlighted in section 6.1.3 of the AT Policy
