2022 ATVBC Jamboree and AGM in Valemount, BC
Directors set the dates for the 2022 ATVBC Jamboree and AGM (August 2 – 8, 2022), tentatively in Valemount, BC. ATVBC Directors are working on logistic issues and the location will be confirmed if their efforts are successful.

Vancouver Island ATV Clubs private land access
Vancouver Island ATVBC Directors continue to offer support to the Campbell River, Comox Valley*, Mid Island*, Alberni Valley, Sooke, and Cowichan Valley ATV Clubs in their efforts to negotiate a private land use agreement with Mosaic Forest Management.
Representatives from the Island ATV Clubs have volunteered hundreds of hours over many years to increase ATV riding opportunities through private land agreements. Please thank your club representatives for negotiating towards the best possible agreement and for their tireless efforts on your behalf.
*The Mid Island and Comox Valley ATV clubs currently have an access agreement with Mosaic Forest Management.
Club Presidents Meeting – January 25
ATVBC President Chris D’Silva will chair a meeting of ATV Club Presidents on January 25, 2022. Applications for the 2022 ATVBC Trail Maintenance and Development grants and the 2022 ORV Trail Fund are due on February 15 and 18, 2022 respectively, discuss will focus on grant application support. ATVBC directors will be available to answer any questions clubs have about the grant programs.

Land Access Issues
Directors and staff are working to retain and increase ATV access across British Columbia. Directors represent British Columbia ATV riders through advocacy and representation with government, industry, various trail user groups, and other stakeholders, such as the BC Backcountry Powersport Coalition, the Outdoor Recreation Council of British Columbia, the Canadian Quad Council, the Canadian Off-Highway Vehicle Distributors Council, and Rec Sites and Trails BC.
ATVBC submitted its annual grant funding request to the Canadian Off-Highway Vehicle Distributors Council for funding to support its work in representing BC ATV riders, development and expansion of motorized and mixed use trail access, and work to ensure quality ATV riding opportunities exist in British Columbia.
2022 ATVBC Poker Ride in Logan Lake
The Board confirmed that the 2022 ATVBC Poker Ride will take place in Logan Lake, BC from June 27 to July 3, 2022. New trails south of Logan Lake will be open in time for the event. The event will take place during the District of Logan Lakes delayed 50th Anniversary Celebration.
