ATVBC directors are in Logan Lake, BC preparing for the 2018 ATVBC Poker Ride and want to assure riders that the wildfire burning west of Tunkwa Lake is not impacting the event.
While smoke from the fire is visible in the distance, the campsite and the poker ride trail are not impacted. Smoke from the fire is currently blowing away from the Logan Lake area.

Crews worked on this fire overnight and have returned to continue with suppression efforts today. They are being supported by one helicopter.
The fire is located on the southwest edge of Tunkwa Lake, about 13 kilometres northwest of Logan Lake.
