ATVBC will provide clubs with up to $150 per club to assist with the cost of enrolling trail leaders in First Aid Training. In addition, ATVBC will provide clubs with up to $150 per club toward the cost of ORV Safety Training.
Clubs may apply for First Aid Training and ORV Safety Training funding at the same time. The available funding amounts are interchangeable and may be allocated toward either First Aid Training or ORV Safety Training, based on the club’s needs. Clubs may use the full funding amount for one training category or divide the funding between both training categories.
The total amount of funding available through this grant program is determined at the discretion of the Grants Committee and is dependent on the funds available within the First Aid Training Grant Stream at the time the application is received.
Eligible Training
Eligible first aid training includes recognized certifications that provide essential first aid skills relevant to trail safety. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Standard First Aid
- Wilderness First Aid
- Emergency First Aid
Eligible ORV Safety Training must be delivered by a CSC Certified Safety Trainer. ATVBC clubs are encouraged to collaborate with other clubs and organize multi-club safety training events to provide training opportunities for their members.

- Training course registration fees
- Certification renewal fees
How to Apply for Funding
Each club can apply for one first aid training grant per year.
- Each Club can apply for one ORV Safety Training grant per year.
- Clubs must complete a request for funding and submit it to ATVBC a minimum of 30 days prior to the training.
- Once funding is approved, all receipts must be submitted before reimbursement will be processed.
