WHY DID ATVBC GO TO ONLINE MEMBERSHIPS ONLY?

When you purchase your membership online – it is quick, easy, secure, and good for the environment.  ATVBC also requires that every member “agree to” the ATVBC Waiver.

It takes only minutes to purchase online and you receive immediate confirmation!  Your confirmation email with your membership number and expiration date can then be taken to your insurance office and you can take advantage of the insurance discount for being an active member!   There is no waiting for processing your membership!

Join Online

We have two membership options.  Choose the one that best describes the type of membership you would like to sign up for. Once you’ve signed up, watch for an email with your membership details and benefits – you can screenshot or print your membership card. Don’t see it? Check your spam folder or email [email protected] for a copy.

• Single Membership is for a single person –  $55 for one year from the date you join
• Combo Membership is for two or more family members living at the same address –  $95 for one year from the date you join

We ask that you review the ATVBC Code of Conduct before joining.  Help us maintain a welcoming, safe, and inclusive community for all riders.

Renewing?

• You will receive an invoice by email prior to your membership expiry date. Click on the link (url) in the email you receive -View Invoice. This link will open your invoice so you can view and pay online.
• If you see your clubs listed on your invoice already, DO NOTchoose your club in the list again. This will result in double billing. Don’t see your invoice in your In Box?  Check your spam folder or email [email protected] for an invoice to be resent to you.
• Cannot find your renewal email? Please go to our Member Profile Log in pageand you can see your invoice there if it has been issued.
• Please pay your invoice by the due date or your membership will lapse.  You can contact [email protected]to have your membership reinstated or you can simply join again using the exact same name and email.

Changes to your membership?

Members can add a club at the time of renewal.

Unfortunately, other changes must be done through the ATVBC Office.

• If you wish to add or remove a club in the middle of your membership term, you will need to email [email protected]with your changes.
• If you wish to change your Single membership to a Combo Membership or vice versa, please email [email protected]with your instructions and we will complete the changes.
• If you have a Combo membership and want to add a member, you can go to Member Profile Log in page and add or delete members. Or email [email protected] .

Do you live on Vancouver Island or want to ride on Vancouver Island?

• In order to ride your ATV on most of the Vancouver Island trails, you will also need to be a member of an ATVBC affiliate club that has a Mosaic/TimberWest agreement in place.  Dirt Bikes are not allowed to ride on Mosaic Lands.  If you are riding North of Campbell River, this area does not have these Mosaic agreement requirements as it is mostly Crown Land.
• Purchase of an ATVBC membership, an affiliate island club membership, completion of an ATV Safety Course and the correct insurance is required before a Mosaic access sticker is issued.  Each Vancouver Island club issues the access stickers for their own riding area.  If you wish to ask for more clarification on these requirements, please see your club contact information here: https://atvbc.ca/clubs/

Are you interested in riding the North Island 1000 route?

In order to access the communities on the North Island 1000 route with your ORV for food and fuel, you will need the MV1815 permit associated with each community.   Mid Island ATV will send all your paperwork for the required MV1815 operation permit to the RCMP office in Victoria for you provided you meet the following:

• You must be a member of ATVBC
• You must be able to provide proof of $2,000,000 liability insurance for public road coverage
• You must provide proof of a valid driver’s license

The fee is $10.  Obtaining a permit and sticker also makes you an associate member of the Mid Island ATV club.     The contact email for Mid Island ATV is [email protected].
