Gordon Galloway recently received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Elkford ATV Club.

Gord has been on the Elkford ATV Club board since it was formed 16 years ago, and continues to be a very active member and board member.
He has been a mentor for me (Murray Haight) for many years and is a wealth of knowledge for all of our members. He is a great Ambassador for our Sport.
Gordon has done so much for all motorized users in the Elk Valley and for all of British Columbia for 45 years now.
Gord has a very long and distinguished career of being a volunteer. He was head of the Elkford Search and Rescue for many years, and was Chief Safety Instructor for Western Canada for a lot of years as well.
Gord has served as President for both the Elkford ATV Club and the Elkford Snowmobile Club, and has held about every position in these clubs. He also was President of the BC Snowmobile Federation for two years and was a board member of BCSF for 19 years in total. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the BCSF years ago. Gord also served twelve years as a Director for ATVBC. We are all very proud of Gordon and presenting him with the award was the highlight of our year.
