The Dealer Safety Kits were created to provide essential safety resources and tools to new riders and help to promote the value of ATVBC membership and safe and responsible riding practices.
Our Dealer Safety Kits are provided FREE to Powersports Dealerships across BC in exchange for the signup of a new membership for each kit given away.
Valued at $60, these kits include essential items for safe and responsible riding, packaged in a 2L dry bag with a cellphone holder for important documents like insurance papers and permits. Inside, riders will find a tire gauge, helmet medical pouch, ATVBC dust buff, tire repair kit, hand and toe warmers, and a Backroad Maps free 90-day PRO membership, along with safe riding tips and pre-trip checklists.
How does it work?
When ATVBC provides the kits for FREE to our Dealership Partners, we provide tent cards with a special QR code for customers to use to purchase their ATVBC membership while in the store. Completing this process only takes 2-5 minutes.
When the new membership is completed, the member will receive an email with the confirmation of their new membership and their new member ID number. The Dealership salesperson will be required to record this information on the ATVBC provided Membership tracking form and then provide the customer with the Safety Kit as their “gift with purchase.”
Dealerships are asked to submit by email a copy of their tracking form every 6 months. ATVBC will track the program and offer incentives to dealerships to help increase participation.
What if a Dealership wants to “gift” the ATVBC membership to their customers?
This is a great extra incentive to provide for your customers! In order to process the new membership, dealership staff would contact ATVBC by email at [email protected] with the customers First/Last Name, Email, Phone Number, and Full Address. The ATVBC staff will process the membership and send an invoice to the dealership for the cost. The customer will receive email confirmation of their new membership, and the dealership will record this on the tracking form provided by ATVBC.
