Where Can I Find a Training Session?

The Canadian Safety Council (CSC) Certified Operator Safety Training Program is available at all ATVBC Events, including:

  • Poker Ride
  • AGM/Jamboree

Membership Requirement

A discounted training price is exclusively available to ATVBC members.  If you are not yet a member, please join us at https://atvbc.ca/join-atvbc/ before applying for the training. 

Cost of Training

  • ATVBC Member Fee: $150 per participant – a special discounted rate exclusively for ATVBC members.
  • Non-Member fee:  $300 per participant

Comprehensive Curriculum

The training covers a wide range of topics, including:

  • Pre-Ride Inspections: Ensuring your ATV/UTV is in proper working condition.
  • Basic Riding Techniques: Safe acceleration, braking, turning, and maneuvering.
  • Trail Etiquette & Responsible Riding: Understanding shared trails and minimizing environmental impact.
  • Emergency Procedures: Handling breakdowns, first aid basics, and safety protocols.

Hands-On Practice

Participants will gain practical experience under the guidance of experienced, certified instructors, ensuring they develop real-world skills in a controlled learning environment.

For Clubs, Organizations, and Dealers

  2. Select a Training Type: Choose between an ATVBC Event-Based Training or a Custom-Hosted Session at your preferred location.
  3. Confirm Date & Location: Work with ATVBC to finalize event details and logistics.
  4. Coordinate Instructors & Materials: ATVBC will provide certified instructors and necessary training materials.
  5. Promote Your Session: ATVBC will help advertise your training through its website, newsletter, and social media channels.

For Individual Riders
