The Safety Signage Program supports the design, production, installation, and maintenance of safety signage, all of which must be ordered through ATVBC-approved providers. Additionally, all signs funded by the program will feature an ATVBC sticker, signifying their contribution to improving trail safety across the province. This initiative empowers clubs to proactively manage and mitigate safety risks, fostering a safer and more enjoyable experience for the off-road vehicle community.
ATVBC Safety Signage Guidelines have been developed to provide clubs with the resources required to ensure they are meeting government standards.
ATVBC Trail Development and Maintenance Grant – Safety Signage
- Purpose: Improve information and directional signage on trails and other recreational areas.
- Uses: Design, production, installation, and maintenance of signs.
The Safety Signage Grant is available to ATVBC clubs aiming to address safety concerns and needs on their trails. Through this program, clubs can receive up to $2,000 in total funding to enhance safety measures, ensuring that trails are well-marked, compliant with regulations, and safe for all users.
Application Process
- Prepare a Proposal: Outline how the funds will be used, expected outcomes, and alignment with ATVBC’s goals.
- Submit Application: Complete the application process as outlined by ATVBC, including all required documentation. Intake 1 – November 1st – December 15th, Intake 2 – January 15th – March 15th
- Order Through ATVBC Provider: All signage and other materials must be ordered through providers approved by ATVBC.
- ATVBC Sticker: All safety signs MUST have an ATVBC sticker on the back, provided through ATVBC grants.
