What is ATVBC? –  A Voice for ATVing in British Columbia.

The voice of ATV owners in BC, ATVBC works with government to ensure access to trails by participating in land use and environmental planning. ATVBC and its affiliated clubs advocate for shared trails through responsible use, collaboration with other user groups and volunteer contribution around the province of BC. At ATVBC we advocate for responsible ATV use, we promote the growth of our sport, provide safety programs, support local clubs and provide a voice on a provincial level for our over 5000 members.

When you become a member of ATVBC, you are directly supporting our efforts to grow the sport of ATVing in BC. We would not be able to do what we do without our members support.

There are many reasons why joining a ATVBC affiliated club will benefit your riding experience.

Local clubs are formed for many reasons, but one of the biggest reasons is to bring riders together to support the sport of ATVing. Some clubs may do this with a focus on club rides and activities, building riding skills, creating friendships and encouraging more people to join the sport. Other clubs may have strong interests in building and maintaining trails and important infrastructure. Maybe the biggest reason for the clubs is to help protect and retain our riding areas by bringing members voices together to advocate for fair access and responsible use.

When a club is formed, it not only provides a place for local ATV enthusiasts to come together, but it further provides special benefits to their members. Some clubs have agreements with local dealers, suppliers or insurance to give discounts to members.

Here is a list of the top 15 reasons to join your local ATV Club!

  1. To have FUN, socialize and meet new people who enjoy OHV adventures
  2. Learn from local experts and become more knowledgeable about some pretty cool local rides. The guidance club members give along the trail is generally more specialized and advanced than the basic riding course can offer.
