The ATVBC Trail Development and Maintenance Grant program was created to help assist clubs and their hardworking volunteers on the important work they do around the province to create and maintain mixed use trails for the public.
Each year, ATVBC receives applications from ATVBC member clubs around the province outlining their various projects and asking for assistance. Our grant committee works diligently to review each application and find ways to provide support to each qualified submission.
In order to fund this important grant program, ATVBC applies for various funding opportunities through MOTO Canada, the Provincial ORV fund, BC Gaming and other provincial available programs. In addition, ATVBC hosts a 50/50 draw with all net proceeds going towards the ATVBC Trail Development and Maintenance Grant program grant intake #1.
Grant Intake # 1 (NOW CLOSED – Will open on November 1, 2026)
Funded by the net proceeds of the ATVBC Annual 50/50
Intake dates: Nov 1-Dec 15th

The ATVBC 50/50 draw net proceeds fund the ATVBC grant intake #1. The success of the 50/50 draw is so important to the clubs as the more we are able to raise, the more we are able to distribute to the clubs for further trail and maintenance work.
Grant Intake #1 has been structured to align with the intake schedule of the Provincial ORV Trail Fund to allow clubs to leverage ATVBC funding towards matching funds for ORV Trail Fund applications on larger trail projects.
Provincial ORV trail funding grant intake opens in mid-January for a 6 week period. All decisions for ATVBC Trail Maintenance and Development Grant applications received by the Dec 15th deadline will be communicated to clubs by Jan 15th to allow them to submit matching fund applications for the Provincial ORV Fund.
The ATVBC Trail Maintenance and Development Grant INTAKE #1 will run each year from Nov 1st – Dec 15th.

ATVBC-Trail-Grant-Report-V2-fillable – all projects should be completed by November 1st. Please submit the Trail Grant Report and receipts by November 15th.
The ATVBC Trail Maintenance and Development Grant INTAKE #2 will run each year from Jan 15th – Mar 15th.
Those clubs who have not submitted or were not successful in grant intake #1 can apply for grant intake #2.

Funded by the successful application to various funding opportunities through MOTOCanada, the Provincial ORV fund, BC Gaming and other provincial available programs.
Intake dates: Jan 15th – Mar 15th
Final Deadline – Mar 15th at 5pm PST
Notice to clubs – Apr 30th
Applications received after March 15th will, for the balance of the fiscal year, be dealt with on an ad hoc basis subject to the discretion of the Board of Directors and availability of funds.
